To enrol in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program you need to be at least 10 year ald, medically fit for diving.
Knowing how to swim is not strictly necessary, but obviously would be of great help: if you are already comfortable in the water and maybe know how to use snorkeling equipment you shurely will have it much easier while blowing your first bubbles underwater.
No, the PADI Discover Scuba Diver program is a way for you to experience the underwater world, to see if you would like to become a certified scuba diver. However, if you already think that maybe you would like to do the PADI Open Water course while you’re here, just let your Instructor know – they can then include additional skills on the second dive, which can credit toward the Open Water course. Please ask if you’d like more information.
All PADI courses are standard diving programs run by PADI Professional Instructors who will make sure that you have a safe experience. The course starts in very shallow water at around 10ft where you’ll practice the safety skills (equalization techniques, mask clearing and regulator recovery) before you take off for the fun part of the dive. You will be under strict supervision of the Instructor and the diving depth will be of a maximum of 40ft, which means surface is very close at all times in case of necessity.
No, our prices are all inclusive: all local marine park fees, diving instruction, boat ride, all the necessary equipment, water, soft drinks and snacks. No hidden cost with Cabo Trek.
We offer, as an additional service, an underwater Photo/Video Service. A professional Underwater Photographer will be joining the dive trip and take great shots of your scuba diving experience. The pictures will be sent to you by Wetransfer or per Dropbox. Please contact us if you’re interested in this extra service.
